Black Blade offers a host of free software in appreciation of our community. All of our software is available as a free version that you may download in a ready-to-install package. Source code is also available for many of our products.
Free software and code...what's the catch?
There's no catch. There is no ad-ware. There are no time limits. Use the software as much as you like. Install the software on as many computers as you like. There are no file size restrictions. You get the idea. Find a bug, you have the code. Even better, you can share your fix with everyone else using the free software.
Why do you give out the code?
We give out the code for two reasons:
- We want to give back to the community that has supported us and made us successful.
- We want to see what interesting things others will do with our code base. We may even incorporate the modifications back into our own products.
I noticed that support only comes with supported software. What if I need help with a free product?
While priority support is offered exclusively with our supported software, we do host community forums for all of our software. You can post questions, report bugs or submit feature requests. You can also respond to other member's questions. We'll try and monitor the forums as best as we can, but priority support will go to customers who have purchased supported software.
